Welcome to Chimichurri ATX, my name is Rodolfo Sosa and I am a second generation of European immigrants to Argentina. I migrated to Central Texas with my family in the year 2000. In my blood runs French, Polish and Argentinean ancestry. My kitchen is a perfect fusion of my roots, customs, and traditions and today I’m happy to bring to your table my recipes, especially my Asado Argentino. You will not find a work of art in my plates; the sophistication is found in the taste and pleasure of enjoying the dish. New sensations await you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do while I prepare them.

Our Method

We offer a variety of traditional dishes from the Argentinian cuisine, but our specialty is the Asado de Campo, Parrillada Argentina, or simply Asado. This is the most traditional dish in Argentina. It is cooking in its purest form – just wood, fire, a cast iron grill and fine meats. Depending on the entree, we use an iron cross, a flat cast iron grill or our specialized grill oven. Our meats, seafood, vegetables, and desserts are skillfully selected for its highest quality, seasoned and slowly cooked to perfection with wood on a low fire. It is like magic!

Our Services

Chimichurri ATX is more than just a catering service! We can take your desired entries already cooked and ready to serve, but we can also cook the food on-site for you so that you get the complete Argentinian experience. You can find us regularly in a couple of wineries in the Hill Country over the weekends, and we also offer event design for your special event. You tell us what you want and we will make it happen with party linens, dinnerware, and cutlery. Our picnic designs are also very popular with our customers and we will create the perfect atmosphere for a romantic evening, small groups or large parties.
